ABOUT Mary & Richard and QuickTurtle Books®
Mary Rensberry was born in Texas earned a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology and has certifications in the special education field. With over 20 years of teaching experience in different school settings including public, private, church, charter and homeschool, she spent most of her career in elementary education. She acquired her certification in Christian Counseling from Covington Theological Seminary in the 90’s.
Her first book co-authored with her husband, Richard, addressed the prescribed drugging of school children in a fictional book, It’s Black and White, Navigating the ADHD Controversy.
The latest of Mary’s books, I AM A SPIRIT, The ABCs of an Ideal Spirit, deals with the attributes and capabilities inherent in humanity while stressing the power of positive thought to reinforce the truths of who you are-a spiritual being in a physical body.
Richard, born and raised in Alpena, Michigan, travelled west as a young man where he began his career as a professional painter. His love of writing and art led him to many endeavors out in California where he eventually met his love & wife, Mary.
One of his most recents books, City Slicker's Guide to the Amish Country, Richard is taking the little town of Fairview by storm...albeit a spring shower, it is welcomed by the community at large.
Some of Richard's other books sold on Amazon are: The Love Tree, Wolf Pack Moon, Colors Talk, and How the Snake Got Its Tail.
